Writer, editor, and occasional artist, Jim Shooter joins us at the next North Texas Comic Book Show on June 29th & 30th, 2019. His career started at the ripe old age of 14 and his work extended across both DC and Marvel. His early career saw him creating characters for DC that included Ferro Lad, Karate Kid, Sun-Eater, and the Fatal Five. He also engineered the race between the Flash and Superman in Superman #199.
In 1976 Jim joined Marvel as an assistant editor and editor. Two years later he was editor-in-chief. Jim's work at Marvel included writing The Avengers, Daredevil, Dazzler, and of course Secret Wars. He was the co-founder of Valiant Comics and is a foremost authority on the history of Marvel Comics. We're excited to have Jim at the show.
We have set up a very special Jim Shooter dinner opportunity that will allow 15 lucky people to spend an evening with Jim. Special ticket pricing includes a photo op, two signatures, and a print. Meal is NOT included. The dinner will take place on Saturday June 29th. Tickets may still be available. Check our ticket page.
