Al Milgrom, artist, writer, and editor will be a guest at our February show. Al started in the industry in 1972 and started pencilling Captain Marvel in 1975. Horror/adult comic artist Tim Vigil joins us in February. Bram Stoker Award nominee, and a part of Rebel Studios, Tim’s graphic novel Faust ws adapted into a movie by Brian Yuzna in 2001.
Linda Lessmann started work at Marvel in the 1970s and did color on titles including Amazing Spider-Man, Daredevil, and The Fantastic Four. In 1974 she formed Gorblimey Press with partner Barry Windsor-Smith. She left New York in the 1980s and began work as a colorist on First Comics’ The Badger. Artist and colorist Steve Lydic makes his first appearance at the North Texas Comic Book Show. He has worked on trading card sets for Marvel, DC, and Rick & Morty. His work can be seen on some of Randy Emberlin’s prints as well. He’ll be doing traditional colored sketch prints at the event.
